RANCHI, JHARKHAND – A unique 30-hour internship program commenced today at the Ranchi Gaushala Nyas, offering students from the Department of Zoology, St. Xavier's College, Ranchi, a hands-on learning experience in cow keeping and dairying.
The program was officially inaugurated with the esteemed presence of Dr. Bharti Singh Raipat, Head of the Department of Zoology, St. Xavier's College, Ranchi. A total of 19 enthusiastic students are participating in this intensive internship, eager to gain practical knowledge and insights into the traditional and modern practices of gaushala management.
Over the next few days, the interns will delve into various aspects of bovine care, including animal nutrition, health management, breeding practices, and sustainable dairy operations. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between theoretical classroom learning and practical application, providing students with valuable exposure to the intricacies of livestock management within a real-world setting.
